The Keepsake Pendant

Keepsake Pendant

The Keepsake Pendant grew out of a desire to make a piece of jewellery that holds deep personal meaning for the wearer. It’s a vessel that preserves the memory of a special person, place or time.

I think of the Keepsake Pendant as a cross between an urn and a locket. It could be used to keep milk teeth, a lock of hair, a scoop of sand from your favourite beach or a pet’s ashes. Its power is that it means something different to everyone.

My hope is that, for the wearer, the Keepsake Pendant will become more than a piece of jewellery. That it will provide comfort, happiness or peace of mind. That it will call out to be worn during difficult times or simply as a way to keep a connection to the past close to the heart.

Memories aren’t physical - they stay in the mind like a film strip. We play them when we need them, they appear when we’re not expecting, and eventually, they fade. The Keepsake Pendant captures the ones you want to keep safe and carry with you.
